I'm considering the City Racer carb to for my FJ40. Has anyone uses an aftermarket air cleaner on that carb? If so, what kind?

city racer carb uses the oem air cleaner. do you not have that?

No. My 40 had a weber when I bought it, with thw weber air cleaner. I'll eventually go back to oem, but it will be a while. For right now, I'm just asking if anyone had successful used an aftermarket setup on this carb.
Personally not researched that, but I would think you could get the correct size silicone 90 degree hose and clamps and hook them up to a K&N reusable cone filter, like ricers used to do in honda civics back in the day, the Whale Penis filter setup...
