Saw this in the Seattle Times today. Cool open top Land Cruisers, a little disturbing how they are crowding the lions!

Here in North America we get a little giddy when we add a 3" lift kit and a brush bar to our Cruisers than I see news from Libya where the rebels have mounted a 105mm canon in the back of a 70 Series pickup using scrap lumber and bungee cords.:) Now that would make an interesting thread.

Nah, the lions don't care. I've been through lots of game parks and the lions are super easy going - especially when their bellies are full.

"Hey guys, hope all's well with our glorious uprising! We shall soon be rid of the Jamihiyria and the oppressive murderer Qadafi... but with the help of Omar's 95 HZJ75P and our newest acquisition, a M2HB 50 cal with a couple of crates of M903 SLAP that we picked up from "some buddies," we think we'll move things along pretty quick here...

Now, we just have to get 'er on there... What do you guys think? We got pretty stoked at the garage and just slapped on some 2x4s and bungee cords we grabbed from a Peace Corps site for a quick burn around the neighborhood... here's some pics with Omar at the helm, pretty badass right? Looks good for a guy with a PhD.

Anyway. My grandparents were there until 1973 when they were forced to leave shortly after the "5 points" speech... so best of luck to all people trying to reclaim their country.

but I did inherit some good photos of grandpa's bathroom hooch still- he called it "flash" and it came from the toilet tank. Mmmmm, hooch.

I would think the lions are there watching and admiring the landcruisers passing through

They are just waiting for some nature lover to lean out to far and fall overboard and then as they say..."game on":)
