I just received my 1/4" aluminum BudBuilt skids and reaalllly want to mount them up...
However- I'm on stock suspension for another month until my OME lift kit gets installed. I already have Slee Sliders, an ARB compressor and half height ARB drawers + a cargo barrier in the rear. On my quick math the skids are about 110 lbs but they remove 50+ lbs of factory crap- so call it 60lbs net. That on top of the ~400lbs I have installed seems like I'm running up against a weight issue.
Can the stock springs handle all that (plus a couple of kids and a dog) without sagging in the rear and reducing ground clearance or ride quality to a noticeable point for the next month or so?
