Have been looking for awhile for my wife. She is ready to move on to something else because of the lack of 200s, but then this popped up with the color combo she wants and under 100k. It's a NE truck with a very detailed service history through Toyota. But, it's a NE truck. They want 36. It would stay in NE, and I'd have the frame waxy oiled, but I'd like to be keeping it for a long time. Problem is, she's sick of waiting.

36K? I wouldn't if it were me. Other considerations aside if you have that budget and can compel the wife to be more patient I would find something else and have it shipped to you. Or honestly consider a different vehicle, of course it dpends on how long you plan to own it but I think you will be chasing your tail with that rust in the near future and its resale will sink like a rock. Tell her she can either wait or you can easily find a rust free prius, maybe that can motivate her. Good luck

Wouldn't touch that. Edit: Be patient and the right rig will come along. Can't imagine car prices will hold when everyone picks up manufacturing and trying to dump inventory at low prices. I wouldn't consider buying a stock rig right now.

Nope.

That looks like a Maine truck that never had any thought about the undercarriage.
I think you got the right advice to avoid this one

Fast pass. Don't buy rust when you can get it for free.

that rear axle! that is the crustiest 200 I've ever seen.
