Meet at North Shore OHV Facility in Arrowhead, 10:00 AM. Stacey Wellman is looking for anyone who is available and interested in helping out the Mountain Top Ranger District for directional signage refurbishing on green sticker routes. Stacey will be working with the MT OHV tech before the project day to get everything ready. They may need to winch out old metal DVR signs and install new ones. There will be more details at the tailgate safety briefing on the day. If interested please give Stacey a call (951) 201-7512.

Stacey has arranged for an instructor to be available to give a Winch Certification class prior to the workday beginning (NOTE - MEET AT 9:00AM FOR THE WINCH CLASS). Students need to have a winch on their own vehicle. Volunteers will get individual volunteer hours, so please ensure you sign in with Stacey. If you plan to attend the class or volunteer for the workday, please call Stacey to help with the planning. There is currently no volunteer limit.

Please bring a lunch and plenty of water. PPE REQUIRED - Hard Hats (Forest Service has a few extra); gloves; over the ankle boots; full length pants. Long sleeve shirts and sunblock are recommended.

WORK TO BE PERFORMED - Rehabilitation of signs on green sticker trails. Some old sign posts may need to be removed using winches, and new sign posts installed. Scraping old stickers off and application of new stickers in accordance with Forest Service guidelines. Posts, tools, and sign stickers will be provided by the Forest Service.
