Adjustable Extended Rear Sway Bar Links
I've been meaning to make extended sway bar links for the rear of my '62 for years. I figured as long as I was at it I might as well make them adjustable. I'm running OME medium rears with a leaf removed and air bags so I really don't know how much over stock I am.
I took some new links and cut them apart. The tubing is 1/4" DOM and the bolts are 10mmx1.5 10.9 grade. 1/4" DOM not because of strength, only because it had the right ID for tapping 10mmx1.5 threads (I was too lazy to be bothered to have to drill it to size when I could buy a size that was ready to go).
Completely collapsed they are about 2" longer than stock. In the pics I've got them set at 2.5" longer than stock. I'll probably try them at 3" longer than stock as well.
