Just read your story! Great find, that is a very nice looking 60! You guys have good choices in vehicles... My wife drives a 100 and I have a 60 as well (mine is currenlty torn down to the block rebuilding everything! not my DD) .

We're in Coeur D Alene, we should get together sometime and talk cruisers.

Here's where I'm at with my rebuild. I haven't updated it in a little bit. I have a new head on it now.

Yes we should!!
I’m free most Saturday-Monday as it’s not ski season as of yet.

Spent the morning trouble shooting the rear heater. The PO disconnected the rear lines running to the heater (simply connected the output line to the return line) — which got me thinking why!!? The switch doesn’t seem to turn on the rear heater fan either.

So removed the Passenger seat — took out the heater and inspected. Seems to be in good working order - valve functions (didn’t test by pulling a vacuum but no evidence of a leak). Connected the heater to the front fan and the motor worked just fine.

I proceeded to tear the passenger compartment apart and tracked the plug here. and then lost it in the spaghetti.

Anyone have ideas on why the fan is not working when plugged in to the standard plug? I checked all fuses - but there isn’t one for the rear heater which I thought odd.

EDIT** rear heater fan does not turn on without main cabin fan on. HAHA. I’m a dunce.
Finished the day shooting some pictures of her.

Fun day getting the old gal ready for winter.

Took out the rear heater and used a donor heater to repair the broke face shield and outlet tube.

Hooked her all up and we have no leaks and rear heat now!

Been a while — it’s ski season so minimal work on the cruiser. But had a great time meeting up with fellow cruiser heads last night!

Welcome back!
Thanks!! Looking to cruise down to your neck of the woods this summer; anything planned at your little piece of heaven?

Actually going there the weekend of the 29th to get away.

Well, I finally got around to doing something I should have done when I first acquired Bleu!

LED HEADLIGHTS!!

The light space is VERY crowded but ended up going with Real Lux LED. They are a little brand but honestly they BLOW away all the competition. How they do this?!? Their engineers used to build microscopes so they know their s***!

I installed using this negative-switched harness from Amazon.

Install was a  job and holy crap am I pleased by their performance.

Looks nice but with you living in a climate that has snowy winters you could have problems with the LEDs not producing enough heat to melting ice and snow off the headlights. I was looking into them until I realized that it could be an issue I didn’t want.

Honestly don’t drive Bleu enough during the night in winter to warrant it. We’ll see and if I hate them. I can always switch the the heated lens LED lights.

Great cruiser and Great thread. Thank you for posting the links for your headlights.

Another thing about LEDs not producing enough heat to melt snow... our rigs have built in headlight washers; so in the event this is an issue for me in Spokane I will likely just buy some heat proof tubing and wrap it near/around the radiator and waa-laa issue solved haha!

You might be able to blow some hot air from the radiator on them

Washed both gals and finally got a shot in front of our new home!!

Last bump to this thread!!

Ended up selling Bleu to buy a 2018 Tundra as it just made more sense with doing pretty much all the work on my home reno. Anyways, won't be the last 60 I own but its fun to close the chapter and move on!

Cheers all.

For those curious still keeping the 100 series (that's the wife's dd).

@Seth S ended up with 20K after all was complete.
@Hojack seems happy with it so far -- he still is keeping the IG going too
