Yep, that's what I have on my '86 (Post #14).
 
The rims are made by ultra can't find the part # but they are made by ultra the back spacing is not completely correct needs at least an 1/8 spacer to make the rim not touch the boot on the tie rod ends.
 
Hey hey — spent roughly 12 hours on Bleu today! And wow it was an absolute blast!! Prior to today I had never really wrenched on a rig so honestly I was unsure what expect. But I was pleasantly surprised.

As a side note there was essentially no rust which really helped today’s adventure.

Of course I learned ton but my biggest take away was a newfound appreciation to all the talented mechanics who have wrenched on my 100 to date — this is tedious, time consuming stuff!


On the lift -

Targeted service today included.
- birfs
- brakes
- removal all grease and clean out solid axle
- front diff gasket
- cleaning the 3rd member
- putting it back together and new fluids/grease.
- tie rod rebuild and new front steering damper.

Yeah a tall order I know - but I had help from 2 other Cruiserheads.

Passenger side was in decadent shape, minus some really dry caked on grease.

Drivers side the bearing and seal had failed - leading to diff fluid in the birf.

We were not quite able to finish it all. This was due to some hiccups.

Like:
- Not ordering new break lines - mine were old and cracking (doohhh)
- Deciding to install new calipers. After looking at the drivers side. We decided to just replace given that it’s all torn apart.

But that being said got quite a bit accomplished!

-Things that aren’t pictures include the front diff which is mated back to the 3rd again.

Only things left are
- tie rods and new steering damper
- wheels bearing rebuild and locking it all down!

Here is how we left her.

Still in the midst of bleeding brakes.
Fronts are good - rears won’t bleed.

Learning a ton with the help of my local cruiser shop.

Alright holy crap what a day.

Could never get the rears to bleed correctly even with vacuum bleeder.

Took rear drums off and disassembled shoes and removed hydraulic cylinder and she was DRY!! Realizing fluid was not getting back there checked all the brake lines which were in good shape no crimps or cracks.

Given that the front was working we figured it likely had to do with a proportional valve. Scrounging around the shop we found one in good shape and dropped it in but no dice.

With the proportional valve ruled out as the source of the bug we again went hunting for a master cylinder. With the new (to bleu) MC in place we bled the system and finally got good firm brake pressure at the pedal. Feeling like we were out of the woods. Took the rig down the road for a test drive after numerous full stops with great braking power.

She ran well!!

Turned around 1.5 miles down the road and headed back. While shifting through the gears I felt a bit of resistance — then the smell of brakes flooded the cabin. I pulled over and saw the fronts smoking. Ughhhh..

Thanks to the AAA - bleu hitched a ride back down the road to the shop.

Again we changed back to the original proportioning valve thinking the scrounged valve may have caused the new bug. But again after 5-10 minutes of heavy breaking started to feel resistance and the calipers heated to 350+

Jumped on Mud and found this thread.

Went out to the rig and the brakes were still warm and locked. So we did as VT suggested and cracked open the MC and the brakes immediately released.

Two working theories:
- both MC were bad and crapped out
- push rods are too long and need to be adjusted back

Just ordered a new MC and we will see if that fixes the issue!!

Whew — what a day!!

Todays big take away point, GO BUY AAA, you will thank yourself later.

Congratulations on a great looking 60 and Mud is the shizz nitts for cruiser information .
 
Update - New MC installed and brake issue resolved!
 
Awesome. Can I ask why you removed the third member?

Sure thing, the seal between the 3rd and front Diff was leaking. Since we were disassembling the front axle decided to take care of it at the same time.

Makes sense. That was the time to do it. You do know that you're spoiled? New to wrenching but you have a lift to use? Nice!

Oh god!! Far too spoiled.

Honestly though the shop has been super gracious and I don’t intend to overstay my welcome. So will likely be doing the rest on jacks and stands :)

Nice while it lasted anyway.
