Adding ac to fj60 with 2f from a 79 40 (1 Viewer)

Hey guys,
i have an 87 fj60 that has a rebuilt 2f that came out of a rolled 40. All of the originally ac components have been installed on the 60 but the crank shaft pulley is only a two groove. I am just trying to find out if a 3 groove pulley from another 60 can replace the 2 groove pulley i have now? If not what year has a 3 groove pulley that will fit?

Any 60 series that came with a/c will have the crank pulley you need. 3fe's came with a 3 groove pulley also but the a/c groove is smaller than the 2F version.

Believe that the late 70s early 80s FJ40 had the OPTION of AC so you should technically be able to grab a pulley from an early 80s FJ60 2F and swap them. Since not much changed, engine-wise, for the 2F between the FJ40 and the FJ60 other than some accessories (as long as they are both US) I would think you could swap the pulley out without issue but I will let someone else that has more knowledge on this chime in.

Have you been able to source a replacement pulley?
