I was thinking about placing them where the new heritage edition put them but I kind of like it on the fender. Thoughts?

Fender is best. Thats where they were on the 55 and 60 wagons.

I got them on eBay. I had to shave the bolts off of the back with a dremel to install.

It was very easy to do. They cost me around 35 each

I might do that to mine but a little lower like mid fender. I might wait to the heritage badges are available so I won't need to modify them.

That looks pretty cool. I recently purchased a set from the dealer. Once I put them on the rear pillar...didn't like it much and actually removed them. I wasn't sure what to do with them now. This is a nice option...but don't wanna be a copycat!

The HE uses the emblem from a '58-9/73 FJ40. The other one shown is the 9/73 and later.
