i was wondering if anyone has put both of man a fre short and long aal on the same spring?

would it be way to harsh of a ride?

good idea/bad idea?

I thout about doing it on an old IHC ScoutII ( not MAF just a long and short one),
but kind of figured the ride would be pretty mean on thee ol' backside. However if I ever come across some long ones for it for a ridiculously cheap price,I'll try it.

I added a MAF short AAL to the rear of my 60. Took 'em off. They are free if you want 'em. Long AAl's = good. Short AAL's = bad. If you need more than one long AAL can provide, I'd use two of them before using a short AAL.

Were the shorts just too harsh? I may be interested in them.

I got about 1" (maybe 1.5") of lift with them. Added carrying capacity, reduced bottoming/etc. Very harsh. Long AAL's did all the same, but not nearly as harsh. Long AAL's made it seem more "truck-like" whereas the shorts were just plain harsh. Of course, I have a compressed disc in my back, so maybe I'm unusually sensitive to this.

That said, they are yours if you want 'em.
