I searched and found only generic references to toggle switches. I'm looking for switches that will fit in the rectangular openings in the bottom center of the dash next to the read window defogger switch. I'm not too picky on the style.

Cool!, that is exactly what I need. I found a few switches on WestMarine - the best selection I could find, but that little panel is perfect.

Do you know if he bought or built the panel that the 6 switches sit in?

If you're talking about an FJ60, you can fit a set of 5 carling (ARB) style rocker switches in the current opening where the ash tray goes.

Or I can make you a custom dash panel to fit any toggle you like.

So information for anyone find this thread. West Marine, Waytek and Radio Shack are great sources for rectangular rocker switches. Painless also has a line of switches. The 'standard' switch I bought at West marine is about a 1/16 too tall for the FJ60 opening, but the opening is easily trimmed a little taller.

I used factory rear window defrost switch and changed the label (reversed negitive on white)...note "Air Comp" switch for a factory look.

Del City also has a few unique switchy wirey things...

Anyone know offhand what the dimensions of the stock switch openings are?

I found a dual switch that has outside dimensions of 1.4x.8-in. It'll be perfect for my aux lights if it can fit.

Cool, I found another set that was 1.2 x .8

I'll post pics when they are installed
