Access to Tool Box Under Driver's Seat (1 Viewer)

Sorry for the dumb question. Is there some trick to getting good access to the tool box under the driver's seat? Looking to mount the bottle jack, brackets and tool roll but the seat doesn't tilt back enough. I could remove the seat but that seems to defeat the purpose. I'm sure that I'm missing something.

Catch 22. If you slide the seat back, the seat back limits the lift. If you slide the seat forward, the bottom cushion hits the steering wheel.

It is my storage of last resort, the place where I put the things that require enough labor to install/use that you’ll be happy having a seat out of the truck to sit on.
