Accelerator cable adjustment (1 Viewer)

So I noticed that my Scan gauge reads 75% when floored and sure enough, I can open it up a bit more when manually doing it from the throttle body. I tried adjusting the cable, but then my idle is too high. Does this mean I need to replace the cable or is there another adjustment somewhere else?

my understanding is the FSM specs ~10% Idle and 75% WOT

I've seen various vehicles with a bent pedal greatly reducing travel.
Have someone hold the pedal to the floor ( not running)
Go under the hood and see if the tb wants to open more.
If so, bend the pedal up until full tb opening is achieved when the pedal is floored
