AC Recharge Valve Loc? R12 or 134a? 1990 FJ62 (1 Viewer)

Accidentally posted this to a 2-year old thread, that wasn't really about AC!

Hi.. I have a 1990 FJ62.. AC blows, but no cold. I suspect it needs recharge.
How can I tell if it's R12, or been converted to 134A?

Does anyone have pics of the location of the recharge hi/low port sites on the FJ?

Are they all standard? In other words, will this hosing fit all cars, and fit all cans?

ALSO, I found R12 on CL.. but the cans all look different brands, even a can by Ford.
Will they all work the same? I did Search here and google. Seems like some people just fill via the low,
and others use a vac pump?
