AC idler pulley tensioner (1 Viewer)

I accidentally snapped the nut while trying to adjust the ac tensioner pulley. I think I didn't loosen it enough when trying to tighten up my new belts.

Any suggestions about how to solve this? Can I just pull the pulley and double nut the part that's stuck on? Then I could probably source the replacement hardware from home depot or lowes.
