AC directional slider stuck at foot position

Hi everyone. Got the head unit replaced in my 2008 troopy with an older dash, it sounds really good. But now when I reached home, I found one of the sliders of AC control, the one which controls the wind direction is stuck in foot position. It only moves between last two positions on right, foot and windshield defogger. I pulled out the head unit but nothing obvious visible. Any lead what to check and where to start from. I don’t wanna break anything so I didn’t apply any force to move it to left

No. Still not moving. But can’t see where it’s sticking

Update: The white plastic lever on the side had slipped out of the silver alloy linkage. Replaced it in and all done. It’s on the driver side foot well.
