Just pickup up 2005 LX with 170k miles. Drive home and dash lights up: check engine VSC TRAC / VSC OFF lights amber

Drove great, ran codes and got this

Been researching some and worry this could be a very expensive first repair

First: Make sure the battery is good and post & clamps clean. Clear DTC (codes) and see what comes back.
