Bill of sale only. I’d take me a few months to get a title with NM running so damn slow from Covid. All vins match and are present.
I believed this is an original Orange fj40. It has orange paint in spots under the red. Around hinges and the tub where the red has flaked.
the frame is heavily welded on. It’s rough. It needs completely cleaned up.
the tub has been cut by the firewall for a poorly installed v8 swap. The mounts were set wrong. It would need two 2x4in patches, and one strip on the drivers side next to the trans hump mount. Also poorly welded around. Needs grinded down and cleaned up.
the normal spots for rust are fairly clean. The worst spots are really where someone had a aftermarket roll bar with fabric as the barrier between the steel and tub. And the rear floor where someone had carpet in it. Rockers look good underneath. The added rear bumper and running board strips may have some repair work, but based on underneath i believe it’s in ok shape.
4 speed and t case included. Had been sitting in my garage for a 40 someday but I don’t think I’ll be using them anytime soon.
has front seats that need new foam/covers.
it rolls easily and has nearly all the switches in place. A red dash pull, the FD knob, headlights, vents, ect. It’s missing a The dash has aftermarket gauges and cuts near the ashtray.
cleaned up it could be ran as a good patina ride, at least the body. The frame is really the only ugly part about this to me. Most of the work will depend on the direction you choose.
I will not entertain stupid offers. I don’t need to sell it. I’ve already been contacted by a well known cruiser yard and turned them down. They have enough Landcruisers. No offense but I’d rather someone else get it.
