About to buy an 80, need advice (1 Viewer)

Ok, here's the deal. I am going to look at a 94 LC tomorrow. It has 100K on it and looks to be in good shape. The guy told me it was always garaged and taken very good care of. He told me he replaced the starter and did a few other basic maintenance items to it a little bit ago. He has receipts for all service. Take a look at these pics please, the rad cap has me wondering about the cooling system... http://cstamm.smugmug.com/gallery/2539224
It looks like I can get it for around $8K, which I think is a pretty good deal from what I have seen. Opinions on the rad / rad cap? Thanks as always.

What he is reffering to is the aftermarket radiator cap . I honestly think its nothing to worry about and if the interior and outside are in great condition at 8K would jump on the deal!

be sure to do all the other checks, like VIN stickers, coolant leaks etc...
