One of our customers is going a different direction with his build, and is taking out his NV4500 transmission. We are selling it for him for $2000 with AA Bellhousing and split case attached. We didn't install it, but can tell you that the transmission shifts really smooth and is very quiet.
$2000 buys you everything you need to bolt a NV4500 to your GM engine application.
AA Bellhousing "712576" $403
GM flywheel
clutch
all bearings and release arm pieces
NV4500 transmission (I believe it's from a '98 GM truck),
AA adapter "50-0214" $662.06
split case in great condition
If you ordered all this from AA with a rebuilt trans, bellhousing, clutch, T-case adapter, then your bill would be around $3500.
The trans has 100k on it and he has had it in his cruiser for about 4 years with no issues. As noted above, it shifts very smooth and everything is in great condition.
I can strap it to a pallet and ship on your dime, I'm guessing $150 to $300 depending on where in the US you live. No pics at the moment, because it's still installed in the customers truck. I can get the parts pulled and shipped with about 3 days notice.
Cheers!
