Does anyone know what the thread size is for the line pressure port?
I'm looking at fitting an in cab pressure gauge.to my HJ61.
Sender units come with 1/8 NPT. Not sure if I will need an adapter.
My last transmission re-builder has stuffed the recon twice in 12 months
With this second fail he is now blaming on the TC he insisted that I sourced, but the converter builder is now blaming the
transmission builder because the kick -down cable was set with 4mm of slack his claim is that was causing low line pressure.
Wholesale automatics recommend 3mm tension. Yes I have one of their Valve Bodies.
Since the cable was adjusted to Wholesale's specs lockup if fine until the trans gets hot.(100c)
This happens very quickly once a caravan is on the back.
Lock up is not noticeable when hot and revs @ 100KPH are about 200rpm higher, then temps can climb to 120c
I am looking to test line pressures whilst towing, testing both cable adjustments to see if there is a difference.
Thanks for any help...
