A440F - 80 to 62 mod (1 Viewer)

Hey guys,

Looking for an output shaft for a A440 from a 62. I understand that I might have to take the whole trans for the one piece, but who knows. Let me know if you might have such a thing. I want to swap out the t-case to the older style and go with a 4:1 gearset.

I've been trying to do something with my A440F after the swap. Although this shaft, as I'm sure any used one, would require you to buy a long spline input gear for the Transfer Case. I did that and it worked perfectly.

After confirming with CS @cruiseroutfitters, it looks like I need do the welded spacer and output gear to a 4:1 input gear for this to work. They do not have a long spline input gear for the 4:1 gear set.

I’ve got a transmission you can have for local pickup outside of Houston.

It’s been stripped down to just the transmission now.

It’s an A440F from our 62 and we’re going to a 5 speed. It’s free and pickup is no rush.
