A343 Transmission Breather Hoses? (1 Viewer)

While under the truck today, I noticed two hoses on my 96 FZJ80 coming off the trans and ending at the dip stick.

Does any one have these on a schematic? Are they available or NLA?

These are the cooler lines, he is looking for the air vent hoses

They are just air pressure vents, one goes to the transfer case and one to the transmission. Most people just replace them with aftermarket vaccum or fuel hose that you can buy by the foot at any parts store. While you're replacing them, move them up higher to protect from water intrusion

Yes, I snapped a couple pictures of the lines.

Also need to figure out where the loose mounting bracket bolts up.

No, they're not on any parts diagram I've ever seen, nor are they in the repair manuals, which is why I asked which lines you were referring to.

Flip it 180 degrees and it goes under one of the t-case shifter mount bolts.

I just used fuel line hose. Be careful with the one coming out of the top of the bellhousing as the nipple is plastic.
