I know there are a number of discussions related to shift kits for the turbo and SC crowd. It seems most of those go back and forth on how aggressive the 1-2 shift is in low range. From those with experience does the 1-2 low range shift end up tire spinningly harsh? Can this not be adjusted out with the throttle cable or does that compromise it other places? My other vehicles have shift kits in them so I'm debating on doing the transgo with the "truck" settings on the orifices while I have the pan off to do the fluid. Or maybe just bump the line pressure? It's a NA truck so mostly protecting for the future / larger tires and weight rather than addressing an issue presently.

Many of us just use the 2nd start feature when in low range to mitigate the already 'brisk' shift in stock form. The biggest issue seems to be that the trans holds 1st gear for a LONG time before the 1-2 shift occurs. So....starting in second (depending on conditions) can be much more comfortable.
