A tire and wheel dilemma (1 Viewer)

I have 2 LCs. (a '99 and a '00)

I have 4 sets of wheels.... two 16" sets and two 18" sets.

On the 16" wheels, I currently have a set of BFG ATs and a set of Michelin LTXs

So the question is... if this was your situation, what tires would you run on the 16" wheels, and what tires would you run on the 18" wheels?

if you do a lot of highway driving, hard to beat the smoothness of Michelin LTXs

If you outline the purpose of you vehicle, you'll have an easier time making choices. Not everyone has the same needs. However, 17" wheels have the most tire choices. I would sell all your wheels and buy 17's

right but with 4 sets of wheels, surely I can cover virtually every scenario/purpose

I realize that the LTXs are going to be hard to beat for highway driving

The main question is: What is the purpose of the vehicle? And maybe, how much do you value a quiet and comfy ride? Because, sometimes it comes down to that.
