Does anybody know which computer controls that sensor?
Because on my land cruiser it isn't sending temp data to my obdII scanner. And it is randomly shutting off the vehicle. All the while the temp of the transmission pan is 150. Verified my laser scan gun.
I do not but the AT temp might not be the cause, just associated. Like when the immobilizer EFI fuse goes out the AT temp light comes on and engine shuts off.

Where can I find info about the efi fuse?

Excellent. I found him after I searched EFI and then I sent him a message. Also, thanks for posting a link to his thread. That didn't come up in the search.

Are you having A/T temp light to come on and engine shut off at same time? Could be another issue I’ve seen before.
I am having this exact issue. I assumed this was water leak related but it's odd that it's both times been the A/T temp light, then the engine shutting off. Seems very specific combination. Do you have information to share?

If I am remembering correctly it was symptoms of the fuel pump on its way out. Haven't had that issue since replacing fuel pump.
