What do I do about this?

You need new clips. If you look in the channel there are metal clips that wear out over time, don’t hold molding down.

There was a good thread in the last week or so that covered the options pretty comprehensively.

drive faster, they will lay back down

FSM specifies a flexible epoxy to hold down the stainless clips, which shouldn't be reused. Most windshield installers just reuse the clips and try to hold them down with urethane, and whether they even go to the effort of cleaning the area is up in the air.

When I got my truck they did the urethane thing and I had your exact situation. I redid the trim with new clips and a flexible boat epoxy.. a few years later had a windshield replaced and the tech was able to free the trim from the clips and they still stayed attached to the body. He was impressed.

Flexible epoxy on new clips is the way.

I didn't notice it..
