Summer is coming here and I started testing out my A/C. I have the rear capped off at the firewall. I refilled the freon at the shop with half the amount, it's half the system running, a couple of months ago.

It seems the freon leaked out somewhere, originally thought it's from the cap off using the dye, but it seems like somewhere else. The compressor does not kick on, so I just get outside air when A/C is on.

Can someone point me in the right direction, I have two options here:

A) Repair the rear line AC and change out: condenser, compressor, and evaporators maybe possibly hose lines if they are bad.

B) Remove the rear AC completely and change out the components for just the front system.

I believe this would be easier since the dye method failed me twice.

I heard people have used a flex hose line to run freon to the back instead of using the traditional OEM line, but I can't seem to find info on that.
