Are the AC air intake vents just below the windshield by the wipers?

No, I believe they actually go in the drip drains for the Evap cores, located on the passenger side firewall in the front, and in/under the Passenger rear quarter panel for rear AC.

Some confusion here.

The foaming cleaner gets inserted through the drain tube as per the above quote.

The smell-good disinfectant gets sprayed into the HVAC fresh air intake vents, located at the base of the windshield. First on A/C, then on Heat.

I just finished, then:

*set off a McGuires car bomb odor eliminator
