Dear members!
Please help if possible.
My 99 LX470 truck was sitting in storage for three years. In perfectly running and driving condition. Now I decided to resume driving it. First of all a brought it to my mechanic to fix A/C ( priority #1 in Florida). He did it ( replaced the compressor). But in the process something happened/was done. And the truck does not drive normally. No acceleration. And the max speed 25 m/h.
His scanner showed the code for TPS. So he replaced TPS. Nothing changed. And the scanner shows the same code. The truck was not driven - just sitting in his shop.
Now he simply says - " I do not know. Take your truck from my shop!"
I paid him $1000+ to fix A/C on a perfectly running/driving vehicle. And now I have a truck with working A/C, but that is not drivable.
For a retired old person on a modest income it feels rough.
My only hope now is your wise advise gentlemen!
