‘98 LX Ignition Lock Cylinder Barrel Rod (1 Viewer)

Hey guys, I know there are plenty of threads about this issue, but I am really just trying to source the right part. I have a 1998 LX470.

Ebay sells a ton of them but they all seem to be stamped “7853B.” My understanding is that this part will not work and that it is for the LC with the manual tilt steering column.

Do any of you guys know where I can find the right part and get it quickly? Thanks!

did you resolve your issue? I ordered the part stamped 7853b and i have a 98 LC and it also doesn't fit... and i have a manual lift. It appears you need to find the piece that has that copper male piece that fits into the female piece on the barrel? I'm not very good at this but does that make sense?
