It might help if you disclosed your post from 80 series tech regarding what happened to you out on the highway. I believe it was titled " need your expertise " . In any case you will probably not get what you want out of it, based on that information.

The car is priced with the assumption that the engine will need rebuilt. .

My mistake then, I did not see that disclosure in the original ad you posted. I thought it said that there was an issue with the valve train but other than that the truck runs fine.
