When do you need to replace this on a PM. Have 126,000k on it and would like to be ahead of the game vs. stranded.

Onto the subject matter...why do you think you need to replace the FP? This is not something you would just replace for the heck of it.

Luckly as is the case with most Landcruisers the parts usually do not fail catastophically. They will give you fair warning. With the fuel pump you will feel like the gas is on and off every now and then.

The main issue for me is down time. I am more inclined to spend the cash on this issue as it can put you out of the game and stranded. Sounds like MTNRAT states the they give you fair warning.

Well then there are a zillion things you can spend your PM money on, including the HG.
