I replaced the starter with a new one at a dealer in my 97' before a 5,000 mile road trip back in 2015 as a precaution.

Recently on long road trips the LC will not restart at a gas station after a full tank fill up (continuous driving on the highway for about 3 hours).
I have called AAA to come check the battery and alternator while I was at the gas pump, but both check out fine.
If you wait, say an hour, and let the truck cool down, it starts right up and you can continue on your way.
I've read the intermittent starting threads, but that doesn't seem to apply here because this seems like a heat issue.

Is there a starter solenoid and or a starter relay that I can replace?
Where are they located on the truck? Any links to the parts would be appreciated.

What should I be checking and or replacing, if the heat generated from a 3 hour continuous run time effects the starting?
I feel like the starter should be fine still.
Thanks in advance!

So it is probably the neutral start switch and or the starter solenoid?
Where is the starter solenoid located? I haven't been able to find a link to buy a new OEM one.
