96 Lexus LX-450 swap to diesel (1 Viewer)

I have a 96 LX-450 in really good shape and would like very much to swap the tired gas motor for a Toyota diesel. I have found a donor vehicle for sale at a reasonable price - a rusted '92 Land Cruiser VX Limited Turbo diesel [RHD - originally from Japan] that is in very good mechanical condition w/152,000 mi on it. Never done a diesel swap - has anyone out there done something similar to this? What kind of nightmares am I possibly getting into? Any advice is very welcome and much appreciated. Thanks!

If you do a search you'll find more then a few threads on that very subject. The search box you need to use is located in the upper right hand corner of this web page. Just type in what you're looking for, and the forum you want to search, (in this case you'll want to search the 80 series tech forum) then press the search button, and all the threads that deal with diesel swaps in that forum will pop up.
