Need some info on engine rebuilds for a 95 j80. Is there a step by step video or book out there?

Get yourself a FSM and locate a machine shop that has state of the art equipment and preferably one that has worked on the 1FZ-FE before. For head work I had great luck with Cool Water cylinder out of Coolwater Florida. You may be ahead of the game purchasing a new short block from Cruiser Dan. Not sure on what they cost, but I'm sure you would find the cost in a search. Best of luck.
