My rear defroster isn't working, but it seems to be slightly different than the other threads I can find. I can hit the switch, and the light turns on for a quarter of a second and I can hear the relay click, but it then immediately turns off, leading to no actual defrosting happening. The fuse is OK, what would be the next thing to check? I tried checking for continuity across the grid last night but I'm not sure I did it right.

FWIW in case it matters: the PO removed the rear wiper and relay for god knows what reason. I'm also working on adding that back in, but it's completely disconnected for now. I don't think that *should* matter, but just in case...
