'94 FZJ80 factory CD/Cassette player (1 Viewer)

Will a '94 foctory CD/Cassette player work in my '93 FZJ 80? The reason I ask is that the front panel controls look different.

I would have to say yes. I have swapped later models into earlier models before with no problems. The faces are different yes, but the plugs are the same.

It should be interchangeable, most CD players aren't too car specific. The only problems might be cosmetic, but shouldn't be way off if it is.

I put a 2001 Celica stereo am/fm/cass/cd into my 1990 FJ62... they make two different plug types...the model with the single plug type...saw a strait swap in. Very cool....and looks great installed. Looked like this one ( http://i10.ebayimg.com/03/i/05/60/34/58_1.JPG)Cant remember what the plug looked like in my FZJ-80...replaced with Pioneer am/fm/cd and a Pioneer motorized display.
