I have just completed switching out my '96 80 DS door with a used '94 DS door. I hade wrecked the previous door when I rolled it on it's side in Borrego. There are two wiring connectors that travel to the DS interior. The larger one matched both doors. Oddly enough the smaller wiring connector for the '94 door is not the same as the '96 door. If you look at the attached picture, the female connector on the right is bigger than the male connector from the ' 94 door. I still have the old connector, but I cut the cabling in an effort to remove the door quicker.

The door is now installed and the large connector must be working, because the mirror controls are working. What the the second connector for and what ideas do you have for a fix? Is it merely that in in '96 they separated each "yellow" and in the '94, they were combined?
