93 4.2TD 80 series automatic to manual conversion. (2 Viewers)

Hello there.

I am looking for opinions please. I have recently purchased a 93 VX 4.2TD automatic. I would like to convert this to a manual and my concern is whether this is safe to do without disturbing the integrity and robustness with which these machines were made.

Has anyone done this conversion? What has your experience been? Has anyone chosen not to do it, and why?
