I have a 92 JDM FZJ80 with a bad computer (Seeing low idle and 84,85,86 codes). The part number is "89661-60160", which isn't found on any of the US cruisers. Is it possible to swap this one with a 94 ECU from America?

You can try but I highly doubt it’s going to work on your rig. There are significant differences between the two markets.

The only other option I've seen for JDM is the 60290... but this one should work too right?

Yeah AFAIK it has some of the same problems as the early USA 93 computers.

i have 93 and 94 ECUs if you want to try one but i have no idea if it will work. WAYYYY cheaper than 1400 bucks lol.

Looks like I'm going to try one of the 310's on ebay... Otherwise I'm dropping $1500 for a new 290
