Acc. left my lights on today when I was in a hurry to get to school, luckily I go to my car after only one block. I opened the door and listened for a warning to tell me that my lights were on, and remembered that I have never heard one. Is there suposed to be a headlight warning on the '92, or is there an auto off?

747,
Ya' know, I've often wondered that myself.

I've done it twice.

Right now I am currently on a business trip in KY. I've got the ele. manual at home, I'll check and PM ya.

I don't think there is a auto off.

I wasn't expecting an auto off, but a warning beep would be expected, it has a sun-roof open warning, but I guess anybody can forget that, but idiots like me who forget the lights shouldn't drive this I reckon.

My 93 does not have it, but the lights shut off automatically when you open the doors.

Sun roof warning? So that's what that random beeping noise is. Methinks my switch is faulty, but I couldn't figure out what the heck it was trying to tell me.

No headlight warning or auto-off on 91-92.

Yahoo group 3FE files section shows how to easily rig one if you want; uses the key-in-ignition warning or something...

Oh ok, but you owe me a beer. (You've probably noticed that that's mostly what we talk about over there. ;p )

Looking at the file, I see that it's written for a 62 series, but it's more'n likely the same. Email Wayne if you need assistance; he's a great guy.

Your url didn't work, I think you're susposed to copy what tiny gives you, not what's in the address bar. Good effort though.

I get "document not found" no matter what comp I try to access it from.

Now that I'm at work I get that too. Oh well...

Do I still get my beer?

I've left my lights on more than I can count.

The sunroof beep is only when it's tilted. My educated guess  (or uneducated) is that you can tilt the sunroof with the liner closed but you can not fully open the sunroof with the liner closed... make sense?
