92 3FE No Start (1 Viewer)

Hi All,

Working on my truck and been starting it fine, but no all of a sudden it decided to stop working. Was running about 30 mins before I turned it off and tried to start it again and now it doesn't want to.

1. Replaced fusible link - thought that might be it, it wasn't
2. Go to start and all lights are on including CEL.
3. Cranks once and all dash lights and power goes out.
4. Lights do not come back on until I detach fusible link and reattach it ( I think this resets something)
5. Same issue occurs again once I try to start it
6. Checked all fuses and they all look good

I also noticed that when I try to turn on the headlights everything just dies as well so no need to start the truck. Am I being overloaded somewhere?

False alarm - found the loose battery terminal connector. Somehow maybe it worked it's way loose.

I was thinking the same. Mine being one of them. Following all the threads to see what else I haven’t tried
