911, Doors acting like I don't have a key (1 Viewer)

I can't unlock my truck, I put the key in the lock and turn nothing happens to any door. The fob doesn't work nor does the lock cylinder. I put the key in turn it an nothing happens, ate the cylinders electric as well? Do I have a dead car battery?

Do all the door cylinders not work? The tailgate is electric only so if you have a dead battery that one will not unlock. The other doors should work with no power.

So I had an appointment that is why I needed help quickly. Had to call my wife who came and got me... I was late not blaming anyone but myself. When you have one of the most reliable vehicles in the world you just don't think this will happen.

Came back from appointment and hit the button on my key fob opened right up. The key still will not unlock the doors. My negative battery cable was loose but I didn't think it was loose enough to affect the locks. Still Don know why the key will not unlock the doors. The key turns so not frozen I just have never needed to use the key before.
