'91 Hilux JDM 2.8 diesel - inertia switch/fuel cutoff (1 Viewer)

Do these motors have inertia switches? This truck suffered a light roll over and was running for about 45 seconds before it was able to be shut off/stopped running. The motor is spinning over, but will not start. Before we get into other options, I was wondering if there is a fuel shut off. Don't think there were.

Im guessing this is a 3L engine? It will have a fuel cut solenoid on the injection pump, it will have 2 or 3 wires coming from it. Sometimes the screw on top loosens up and causes erratic starting

Again, Im assuming it has a rotary pump.
If its working correctly, you should hear an audible click from the solenoid when the ignition lights come on.
