91 FJ80 Engine in a 95FZJ80

I am sure this has been posted before.

Will a 91 engine, transmission, etc fit into a 95FZJ80?

I have a 91 with a working engine, that was crushed by a tree and a 95 that has had engine issues and would like to get it moving again.

I'm sure it COULD be done, but way too much work and trouble. Most 95s are OBDII compliant. ECU, wiring, smog, sensors, etc all different. Different driveshaft length due to no CDL on 91.

agree, its like going 1994 LC to 1997 LC, just doesnt line up all the ways

It's been talked about before- way too much work to do. If the 95 engine is blown, just get a replacement 1fz

Not sure of your location, but some states with strong emission control regs may not allow you to go backwards like that, so that may also need to be checked for your situation.
