Here a pic of a 91 cruiser with factory winch in the stock bumper.

Someone asked me to post this pic.

The design of the winches changed with the model years and were part of the Landcruiser sold under the Camping or active vacation package.

My late Japan sales brochure shows the later airbag style bumper with a winch mount.


Mike's 97 has a winch.

Yes,

I have one in my 97 VX Limited and there are two types. One is a manual one that you operate at the winch and another one is with a kind of remote, so that you can get out of harms way. The last one is the type I have.
