91-92 speed sensor alternatives (1 Viewer)

Howdy everyone, I'm quite new to the 80 series world, but I recently picked up a 91 FJ and it's quite mint except for the few minor flaws. One of them being that the cruise control dosnt work, I've sourced the problem down to the speed sensor on the Tcase, through the cruise control diagnostic technique. Played around with it for a bit, cleaned it, still didn't work. The only sensor for sale I can find is 130$ and it's not OEM.

Is there any way I can repair my broken one or source a sensor from another model toyota or 4x4.

I used the aftermarket one from Australia and it's been working great for the 6 months or so that it's been installed

Hello... I just have HDJ81 and I've been following this forum for sometime. I did test my CC and lead to faulty speed sensor, tried to clean it but only working for few times and now its not working anymore. Hi @GreatWhtCrewmax could you share where you get the aftermarket one?

I also purchased a C6001 to fix the cruise control on a 1991 HDJ80.
There are three wires… red, black, blue. No description.
Can I assume that:
Red: power
Black: ground
Blue: signal
