What year did these begin production.

I've planned on buying one for myself as soon as its imported to Canada.

What are the specs on the engine in these things ?

They are the same mechanically as the 3rd gen NA 4Runner. Just sheetmetal and interior is different and you have diesel options.

This one is a 3RZ powered .. that one is a 99 if I remember well , but you can find here this model at diesel engine with 5L and 1KZ-T engines.

it's actually a 97 but I was lucky enough to find it in better condition than most 99s I've seen.
